This reverts commit d32709a74f.
It is printing deprecation message due to Rails usage of the PG gem. We
need to wait for a new release of Rails to be cut first.
Due to the order we were parsing markdown, bbcode [url] elements were not
handled properly.
`[url]https://example.com/path[/url]` was not currectly parsing cause
linkify was detecting the url as: `https://example.com/path[/url]` which is
legit.
To resolve this I swapped url to use a replace rule, and instead re-parsed
the internal payload and injected the tokens in.
This fix is complex cause we support stuff like
`[url][b]test.com[/b][/url]`
So we need to parse the content inside url `[b]test.com[/b]`
Currently, only user badge grants emit webhook events. This change
extends the `user_badge` webhook to emit user badge revocation events.
A new `user_badge_revoked` event has been introduced instead of relying
on the existing `user_badge_removed` event. `user_badge_removed` emitted
just the `badge_id` and `user_id` which aren't helpful for generating a
meaningful webhook payload for revoked(deleted) user badges.
The new event emits the user badge object.
* FIX: Blank video thumbnails
On some mobile and possibly other browsers, the automatic video
thumbnail generation would create blank or all white images.
This commit addresses several different issues that was preventing image
generation from working correctly on mobile.

On the client-side, message-bus subscriptions and reviewable count UI is based on the 'redesigned_user_menu_enabled' boolean. We need to use the same logic on the server-side to ensure things work correctly when legacy navigation is used alongside the new user menu.
The value field of ThemeField is only used when viewing a diff in the staff action logs and local theme editing. value is being serialized into the theme index as well, which is not used. It's a huge amount of JSON that we can cut by removing it.
This also breaks up the various theme serializers into separate classes so they autoload properly (or at least restart the server on edit)
When revising a post, if the topic that post belonged to did not have a category attached it would error with
> NoMethodError (undefined method `read_restricted' for nil:NilClass)
- Move the old '`define_include_method`' arg to a `respect_plugin_enabled` kwarg
- Introduce an `include_condition` kwarg which can be passed a lambda with inclusion logic. Lambda will be run via `instance_exec` in the context of the serializer instance
This is backwards compatible - old-style invocations will trigger a deprecation message
The updated user menu is the default for new sites, and will soon be enabled on older sites. This commit removes the 'EXPERIMENTAL' warning from the new `registerUserMenuTab` API, and adds a note to the `addUserMenuGlyph` documentation.

Update chat and poll plugins to new pattern
Further followup to 24ec06ff85,
where I prevented other chat scheduled jobs from running if
chat was disabled. We should not be running any plugin scheduled
jobs if that plugin is disabled, it can cause unexpected
behaviour.
This was reverted in 38cebd3ed5.
The issue was that I was using Discourse.redis.delete_prefixed
which does a slow redis KEYS lookup, which is not advised in
production. This commit removes that, and also ensures the periodical
thread count update only happens if threading is enabled.
I changed to use a redis INCR/DECR for reply count
cache. This avoids a round trip to redis to GET the current
count, and also avoids multi-process issues, where
if there's two processes trying to increment at the
same time, they may both receive the same value, add one
to it, then both write the same value back.
Then, it's only n+1 instead of n+2.
This also prevents almost all chat scheduled jobs from
running if chat is disabled, the only one remaining is
the message retention job.
This commit moves the category channel creation out
of the Chat::Api::Channel controller and into a
dedicated CreateCategoryChannel service. A follow up
commit will move the DM channel creation out of
the old DirectMessageChannelCreator service.
Also includes a new on_model_errors helper
for chat service class usage, that collects model
validation errors to present in a nice way.

By default, the Sprockets DirectiveProcessor introduces a newline between possible 'header' comments and the rest of the JS file. This causes sourcemaps to be offset by 1 line, and therefore breaks browser tooling. We know that Ember-Cli assets do not use Sprockets directives, so we can totally bypass the DirectiveProcessor for those files.
We're using v3 of Sprockets, which is no longer supported - upstreaming a fix will be difficult. Long term, we intend to move away from sprockets.

This fixes a usability issue where the user couldn't switch to the user
menu when the search menu was visible and the text in the input was
selected.
Explanation: The `click` event is triggered both when clicking and when
selecting some text and clicking. This means that when selecting text in
the search input, at the end of the selection event, a click event was
triggered. And if that click event happened to be outside of the search
menu, then the menu would be dismissed.
Previously, we fixed this by checked if a current text selection was
present. But that results in a small side-effect of not switching to
other menus. This PR switches to setting a flag during `mouseDown` and
then using that flag when evaluating whether to trigger clickOutside or
not.
This adds these two new test cases:

context "when there are duplicate mentions" do
it "creates a single mention record per mention" do
Apart from that, this groups mention related tests into a context, renames one test, and moves setup of another test into the test case itself from the before block (to make it more clear, that test is the only one that uses that setup). See the PR's commit history.
This was failing quite often with the following error:

This was because our `click_toolbar_button` call on the Composer
page object used a number for the position of the toolbar button,
which can be flaky since there are things that hide/show toolbar
buttons or change their position.
Each toolbar button in the composer has a CSS class, so it is
more reliable to use that instead. Also fixed an instance of
calling `has_X?` method directly instead of using the
`have_x` rspec matcher.
We are seeing issues with the composer not being able to close due to the addition of a error message when rescuing from `Draft::OutOfSequence`. This PR will revert to the original solution implemented prior to https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/21148 that just silently rescues from `Draft::OutOfSequence`
Steps to reproduce the bug:
1. Send a chat message
2. Edit the message and add a mention to it
3. The mentioned user won't receive a notification
This PR fixes the problem.
Also:
1. There's no need anymore to have a code for removing notifications in the `notify_edit` method, because a call to `@chat_message.update_mentions` in the first line of the `notify_edit` method does that job:

2. There's no need to load mention records from database, it's enough to pluck user ids
This PR adds the ability to destroy reviewables for a passed user via the API. This was not possible before as this action was reserved for reviewables for you created only.
If a user is an admin and calls the `#destroy` action from the API they are able to destroy a reviewable for a passed user. A user can be targeted by passed either their:
- username
- external_id (for SSO)
to the request.
In the case you attempt to destroy a non-personal reviewable and
- You are not an admin
- You do not access the `#destroy` action via the API
you will raise a `Discourse::InvalidAccess` (403) and will not succeed in destroying the reviewable.
Responding to negative behaviour tends to solicit more of the same. Common wisdom states: "don't feed the trolls".
This change codifies that advice by introducing a new nudge when hitting the reply button on a flagged post. It will be shown if either the current user, or two other users (configurable via a site setting) have flagged the post.
Followup to bd5c5c4b5f, a
bug was introduced there for any channel that did not have
threading enabled or sites with the experimental threading
disabled. When the user replied to another chat message,
since this is always a thread in the background, we weren't
sending any MessageBus messages to the main channel, since
the message was a thread reply.
However in the UI these messages still show in the main stream
of the channel if threading is turned off, so the UI was not
reacting to these things happening in the backend. The worst
issue was that new clients would not see new replies sent in
reply to other messages in the channel.
This reverts commit 768851920e.
This was causing issues with the local date popup, cutting off
the top of it, there is no way to overrule an overflow:hidden
on the parent. Not z-index related.
